Led by Founder, Craig McKellar, it was founded on his belief that companies want the right individual for the role and for the values of their company who can also add to the culture. Craig has a career devoted to providing excellent service and he is dedicated to help clients find talent who will add value in the long term.
His motto for McKellar Consulting is 'Putting People First'​ because companies ARE people and this is his focus. "It doesn't matter how much cash or technology a company has if it doesn't have the right people".

Craig McKellar
Craig has over 12 years experience in the consultancy sector split between working for a BIG 4 professional services firm and in specialist recruitment. With a passion for people and business, he founded the company in 2020.
He spent nearly 6 years with EY where he audited the accounts and tested controls of companies across multiple sectors from SMEs to FTSE 100 companies right across the UK. Latterly he was an Audit Executive in their Financial Services practice where his clients included some of the world’s largest Asset Management companies. He also volunteered his time for the early stages of EY's Entrepreneur of the Year programme, researching companies and interviewing senior leaders.

He joined a reputable Executive Search firm as a Director in January 2020 from a large recruitment company with whom he worked for just under 4 years. For disciplines he has experience recruiting in, please see the services page. These roles have included senior appointments in the UK and Europe.

He is a graduate of Edinburgh Napier University with a BA (Hons) in Accounting.
